Privacy Policy

YumPDF ("we", "our", "us") provides free PDF tools that run entirely in your web browser. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

All PDF processing — merging, splitting, compressing, converting, editing, OCR, and scanning — happens locally in your browser using client-side JavaScript. Your documents are not uploaded to, stored on, or processed by any YumPDF server. We have no ability to see, access, or retain the content of files you work with, unless you explicitly choose to save a file to your own Google Drive using the optional Google sign-in feature described below.

If you choose to connect your Google account, YumPDF requests a narrow OAuth scope (drive.file) that only allows the app to create and access files that you explicitly save through YumPDF. We cannot see, list, or modify any other files in your Google Drive. The access token is stored only in your browser's session storage and is cleared when you close the tab or sign out. We do not store your Google account credentials, access tokens, or Drive contents on any server.

• Standard, anonymized web server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and diagnostics.
• Basic, privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate usage of features (e.g. which tools are used), without linking activity to your identity.
• If you contact us for support, the information you voluntarily provide (e.g. your email address).

We use browser local/session storage to remember your preferences (such as theme) and to keep you signed in to Google Drive within a session. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

We use Google Identity Services and the Google Drive API solely to support the optional "Save to Google Drive" feature. Use of Google APIs is subject to the Google Privacy Policy.

YumPDF is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
