How do I sign a PDF for free?

Open the Sign PDF tool, upload your PDF, draw your signature on the canvas with a mouse, trackpad or finger, adjust the size, and click Sign PDF. Your signature is placed on the last page.

Is a drawn signature legal?

An e-signature created with intent can be legally binding in most jurisdictions under laws like the US ESIGN Act and EU eIDAS, but for sensitive documents confirm your specific requirements.

Can I use a typed name instead?

This tool uses a hand-drawn signature drawn on the canvas. For a typed style, draw your name in the box in a cursive style, or use the Edit PDF tool to add text.

Does signing change my document?

Only the last page gains your signature image. Text, layout and other pages are untouched.

Is my signature uploaded?

No. Your signature is drawn and placed entirely in your browser — nothing is uploaded.
